Art has always been an act of expressing freedom of expression and emotion, an act of liberation from the reason-driven design world. As an artist, I express myself visually, where the final artwork results from various gestures, movements of my body, and various tools that may amplify and even lessen my drawing skills.
There is always a narrative component in my drawings and paintings. The story might be an initial choice, but sometimes, it emerges with the ambiguity of the image. Also, sometimes the story needs more than one image to be told. So watch them all; there is always a connection.
My intentions are to suggest, not to define. I want to trigger my imagination through my actions and hope to trigger it for the viewer, too.
I am also an affiliate of the
Figurama art group lead by prof. Boris Jirku.
